Coronavirus Precautions at Tea Spa Wellness

Dear Tea Spa Customers,

As communities begin to feel the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share with you about our sanitation practices and why we decide to close starting from March 13th until August 20th. We will reopen on Friday, August 21st, 2020.

  1. We use hospital-grade sheets and towels for all services. We use a professional laundry company that offers hospital-grade disinfect washing and drying services. Anything we wash in the house follows the industrial cleaning procedure as well.
  2. All of our products are concealed in bottles and jars with a pump. All tools and instruments are sterilized in Barbicide and sterilizer machine.
  3. We double shield massage face cradle covers with two disposable covers. We switch all bed sheets and face cradle covers per customer as always.
  4. Treatment rooms are cleaned with disinfectant wipes and spray after each service.
  5. Our housekeeping and sanitation efforts in our spa have been greatly expanded. We have been disinfecting all surfaces such as floors, door handles, counter-tops, keypads, restroom surfaces, tables, stools.
  6. Employees that work at Tea Spa have not been traveled overseas, nor contact with anyone who has been affected.
  7. We go through screening questions to all customers to ensure that there is no recent travel history or contact with someone who been traveled overseas. We do not offer services to anyone who visited overseas or local residents who have contact with anyone who went overseas or have any flu-like symptoms.
  8. We ensure all our customers and employees sanitized hands first when entering the spa. Our employees wash hands for at least 30 seconds with soap and water before and after each service.

Thankfully, we do not have any employees or customers contracting COVID-19. However, COVID-19 virus do have two weeks incubating period, and while we’d love to serve you, we don’t want anyone to take chances. It is a difficult decision but I believe it is better for being too cautious than too late. Temporary closing is the best practice to help our community to flatten the curve, stop spreading this virus, and keep everyone associated with Tea Spa stress-free.

Massage boosts our immune system, facials boost our confidence, a little break will boost our chance to stay healthy and better serve the community in the future! We will open our doors once it is safe for everyone, we hope to see you soon!

Thank you,

Cathy Shao
