REIKI – Chakra Visualization
In technical terms, Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing. It is a holistic alternative form of medicine and therapy. It allows the transfer of Universal force energy while filtering and encouraging emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.
Now, think about an air filter system to better visualize what Reiki is. The filter must be cleaned or replaced to continue distributing clean, crisp air. If neither is done, the air ducts can get clogged up and create blockages, leading to dirty air or potentially no air distribution.
When we think of Reiki, we want to visualize ourselves as an entire operating system. Systems need maintenance in many different forms to perform as they are meant to. Our plans, in this case, work through energy centers, or in other words, Chakras. Reiki works as a filtering system for internal energy blockages that we may sometimes not even be aware of. You are the “system”; the Practitioner’s hands are the “replacement or cleansing of filters”; Reiki is the Universal force (clean air running through).
You possibly have heard of Chakras before, and if you haven’t, long story short, think of the Chakras as discs (energy centers). There are 7 energy centers: crown, third eye, throat, heart, sacral, solar plexus, and root. These discs should be rotating clockwise and at a certain speed. When rotating counterclockwise or impaired, they do not allow the system (your mind, body, and spirit) to work correctly. You are unaligned at this moment. This can cause imbalance, irritability, anxiety, insomnia, depression, body weakness, loss of appetite, pain, and chronic disease, just to name a few.
This is natural; we are all spirits living in a human experience. This is only a portion of what can happen on a human level when the spirit/energy is not inconsistent maintenance. Reiki works hand in hand with Chakras and alleviates all of these blockages, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. This is a Chakra(s) reset.
Reiki is energy; energy is a spirit. Therefore, Reiki is highly spiritual. When the word spirit or spiritual is used, many people tend to shy away or be frightened and automatically think, is it something to do with darkness or magic? Even though dark entities do exist, those are all low vibrational. Reiki is not dark or magic; it is light and pure. It is high vibrational, of the highest of all vibrations. It is directly from the Universal source. There is no beating that; it’s incomparable. It is openness; therefore, the only thing you need to bring with you to a Reiki session is an open mind; the rest leave to the Universe.
Reiki’s job is to cleanse, clear, refresh and protect your spirit (soul), so your “system” can perform as it should.
